Well designed for functionality as well for aesthetics
While searching for a brake, I needed three characteristics - functional design - good looks - and top ports. Working with a 6.5 Creedmoor, there is no need to reduce recoil, it's simply not an issue - however muzzle jump can be. Shooting 1,000+ yards on a higher magnification, slight muzzle jump greatly reduces your ability to observe your impacts, adjust, and send another. I needed a brake that could limit that shift as well as push muzzle downward, loading the bipods. The brake functioned well, I can't attest to recoil reduction simply because the 6.5 never had much recoil to begin with - however the muzzle jump was eliminated and that's exactly what I needed. The fit and finish of the brake is nice - I've always been a fan of tank style brakes as compared to cylindrical design. The ... The brake and included crush washer timed well without the need to crank down on the washer, snug it up by hand then put a little extra on it to level it up with proper tools. Works great and looks really cool too
Works great. if I had to guess I'd say it cuts recoil in half. I have this installed on a Savage 10 in 6.5 Creedmoor. Before the compensator, from the bench with a bipod, I would get a definite 'hop' if I wasn't holding down at the bipod. With the compensator it is smooth and virtually no hop. I'm super happy with this compensator. And clearly the best price of any similar device that I could find. Someone here commented that it was on the 'large' side. Yes. it is a 'tanker' style but I think it looks really cool. Oh and the best part... watching my brother-in-law shooting it on the ground in prone position, you can SEE it working. you see the grass to the sides lay down, you clearly see the vapors/gasses shoot to the sides and straight up. Only downside was the installation- and this is not necessarily specific to this device.. but I had to crush the washer about 3/4 turn and it took a lot more force than I expected. we had to make wooden blocks, cover with leather, and tighten the barrel down very tight in a vise- and us a large crescent wrench on the compensator, protected with more leather, to get the job done. Maybe this is typical... but this was my first compensator installation. (in case your wondering, optic in pic is Primary Arms 4-14X44 w/sunshield. also available on Amazon and I love this thing too.)

Purchased for my 6.5 Creedmoor Ruger Precision Rifle Product is heavy, and little bulky but looks good on my rifle. Great price. MY TESTS (Primative / Improvised) on 6.5 Creedmoor. Shooting Hornady 120gr GMX. These are my result from my own non scientific text. Without muzzle brake recoil measured: 1st Shot: 7-5/8 inches 2nd Shot: 7-1/2 inches 3rd Shot: 7-3/4 inches With Tanker Competition Muzzle Brake Compensator installed on my 6.5 creedmoor Ruger Precision 1st Shot: 3-3/16 inches 2nd Shot: 3-1/8 inches 3rd Shot: 3-1/16 inches As expected it made my rifle louder at the sides, due to venting gas. When i was shooting with out the muzzle break i was never able to see where or what i was shooting with my scope. With the Muzzle brake installed i could see my target and where my ... Great fit and look
Great fit onto my Savage 10fcp-sr and the look is amazing. Took it out to the range and the muzzle break does a great job and minimized the kick back. Would recommend this to anybody looking to put a great looking break on the end of their 308

Solid Steel Construction
I wanted a muzzle brake that actually worked and this one does. It's not built for any other purpose than to do what a muzzle brake is supposed to do and it looks good doing it. The people shooting on either side of you have their own opinion but that's their problem. This one really sends the pressure where it needs to go.
