    Good Product - need more time to try

    I need more time to try this out before giving a full review but so far I like it. The ear pieces hurt my ears because I really have to push them in far to keep water out. Once I got the fit right they changed my whole swim workout. I was able to swim an hour easily because I wasn’t so bored! I’m going to try the other buds it came with next time and see if I get a less painful fit. I also like the short earbud wire for working out and running. Doesn’t get tangled. The clip on the iPod is easy to attach and doesn’t come off. So far, so good!

    Ups and Downs

    I've had it 2 months or so and it is already starting to have problems...like shutting off for no reason. So I turn it off and on, turn volume up and down, click ahead and backwards a few times and it finally restarts. This happened, also, with my original ipods, but after many yrs of use.

    Great things come in small packages?

    Apple has done it again! I'm a carpenter, have been for years..and the first thing you learn is how to plug in the radio, only all those commercials!! Now I can bang nails all day long to my favorite tunes, that's how good the battery is. Clip this little guy anywhere, I made a mount for my Sportster, added the amp and speakers and folks go "where is the music coming from"...it's so clean and neat. Make playlist to fit the mood, no looking at a glary led screen scrolling to find your songs, just press a button and this thing talks to you recounting your named playlist, then press the center pause/play button and Voila'...or select random, and 200+ songs get the toes tapping for hours and hours! Just brilliant.

    Perfect design for its use.

    It's a perfect design, small and light but holds a large capacity of music. If it wasn't great, there wouldn't be a mini industry in renewing the old ones and reselling them. When a phone is too big and heavy, there is nothing better than an iPod shuffle.

    One of Apple's best products, sadly discontinued

    This is my third iPod Shuffle and I'm so sorry that Apple discontinued this product. I lost one :( One's in my make-up cabinet connected to a speaker. I made a waterproof pouch for one in my sunhat and wear it while water walking (great exercise). I holds plenty of music and pod casts and quality earbuds are easy to find. Adding/deleting items to this device via iTunes is a no-brainer. And the charge lasts a very long time.
