    Classic Gear tuners are my favorite tuners for modern Fender guitars that use the two pin system: the string end is hidden in the tuner shaft, preventing you or your gig-bag from getting poked, the split shaft is secure for tuning stability, they turn smoothly, they drop in without modification, and they add a nice vintage look to your guitar. Arkansas Musicworks had these for the best deal I could find on a new set, so buying them was a no-brainer.

    Excellent product.I used them to "de-brand" my DIY T-types. There are no visible logos.These are a straight swap for standard Gender tuners with the two anti-rotation pins. No new holes or hole opening us required.You should note the end two feature slightly longer bases and notches you could, but do not need to, put screws into for an even more "authentic" look. They are handed, so one needs to go on the high e string, the other on the low e.

    Great vintage looking replacement for non vintage Strat or Tele

    These are the vintage looking tuners you have to install on a new Fender (not sure on the year but 1990 and up at least). 10mm neck tuner holes. They look and work great. I believe vintage guitars and reissues have 8mm holes so you would use the tuners that actually have the Phillips head screws between each tuner. The small ones will work on the large hole necks but you will have to pay $13 for the non Fender conversion bushings from True Custom Shop.

    Great tuners...but....

    I was hoping to use these tuners to upgrade a new Fender Squier Bullet Telecaster neck that has a two-pin mounting system. Problem is, the two pin footprint is different, so new pin-holes would need to be drilled. I will have to find another use for the tuners.

    Perfect fit

    These tuning gears are perfect fit, very easy to install, no modifications at all, get these if you are not a big fan of the modern looking ones (like me), these are easy to change just like changing strings.
