Lightweight with alot of features
The camera is great for the price does well in auto, a little harder to use for me but learning it The sd card that came with it was filled after only 4 pics and I bought a new card and was unable to format it with the camera but used another card from old camera and was able to format it and now able to take more than 4 pics. Older technology that still works well.
I bought to make a book scanner. Takes better photos than I imagined. happy with it. Other than size and battery life it would be good for taking pictures or a kids first camera. I wanted this camera again...
My first Cannon A560 was damaged from it being dropped several years ago. The newer Canon I bought four years ago was not as user friendly (to me, at least) and did not yield as sharp of images. I was not happy
I wish I could tell more the camera itself seems very easy to use , easy to transfer to the computer , did not do well for up close pics, they came out blurry. Unfortunately the one I purchased was used , the battery door did not close all the way flush and the low battery flashed no matter how many times I changed batteries. Day 1 I did take some pics ,the next time I went to use it the camera quit working . I am very unhappy. Disappointed
When the camera works, it takes great photos! However, the camera itself can barely hold a charge from the batteries and this was not listed in the description before I bought it. I opened a brand new box of batteries and put them in the camera and the camera started showing low battery almost immediately. After having the batteries in the camera for only two weeks (with only 3 uses) it only takes about 1 photo before shutting off because of the low battery. Lightweight with great features and one drawback
This is a small camera that you can carry around with you in your purse. It has numerous features which I haven't used as yet. The disturbing aspect of this camera is that the battery light began to blink as low battery only 20 pictures after I first started shooting. I wrote a long glowing report on this camera, but the computer ate it? Anyway, this was to replace a previous identical camera (actually turned out I only needed a replacement memory card). This new one is in mint condition. As for price, National Camera would have charged way more for just a new memory card than this whole camera cost. And now I have TWO! (inc. a very nice case, which I didn't have before) Good to go for years... I originally purchased this because of the viewfinder, which I love. This camera takes pictures that print out extremely beautiful. This was the first nicest camera that I ever had the chance to invest in...my first original one was broke due to someone else. Now I had another chance to finally replace it. I wanted the same one to replace the original. THIS MODEL(A560) ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!!! And you can record videos if you like to do both-just buy a 32GB or higher SD card to definitely make sure you never run out of space(if you don't keep up like I do-too busy all the time :) ) or keep back up.
