Samsung HW-Q950T Soundbar - Just Adequate
I purchased the Samsung HW-Q950T Soundbar - It is adequate. I really like the sound quality for TV shows and movies, and got it at a really good price (not full retail), so I will keep it based on sound/price. Like many reviews I read prior to purchase, I have the same issues with the built-in Alexa not being able to integrate with my whole home multi-room music echo speakers around the rest of the house, and I also experience the sound cutting out for a micro-second here and there on most music, but it is tolerable given I got it primarily to watch TV. I also find the controls being located at the top of the soundbar a poor design choice, but I can do everything I care about via the Samsung SmartThings app, sans the ability to adjust individual speaker volumes. If I had it to do over again, I might have looked more deeply at the Sonos which can allegedly work with Alexa multi-room music.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice setup, but popping subwoofer
Great speaker setup, but with certain deep bass moments the speaker makes a popping sound. I've tried changing channels, avoiding other electronics, and still nothing works. Pretty annoying to spend around 1k and not be able to enjoy the bass in a movie without it sounding like the speaker is blown. Quite expensive but worth it.
This sound bar has monster sound output. The Dolby Atmos effects are very good. The setup was quick and easy - I knew from other reviews that there is a certain order in which to power on the various pieces so that they pair successfully. The one negative is the rather small function display which is inexplicably located on the top of the unit, so it can't be seen from where one is sitting. Currently this is set up in my (temporary) apartment, and I am sure that if I cranked the volume up over 25% I'd have neighbors knocking on the door. I can't wait to see how it performs in my house when it's completed. My hope is that it will eliminate the requirement for regular in-ceiling Atmos speakers in the living room.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lower your  expectations
I had a Logitech z5500 for over 10 years now and to be honest it sound better than this sound bar. The Sub is very soft so you have to lower all the audio setting to get proper volume out of it. Using eARC I noticed bad audio delays even with proper hdmi cables. I love the Samsung Q950T soundbar kit, sounds awesome!
This is the best soundbar I've ever experienced to date. Before buying this one, I almost went for the LG Dolby Atmos soundbar, so glad I didn't, this one has real build quality (built like a tank) and goes perfect with the 65" 4KTv. The surround sound the Q950 offers is incredible for home theater - it can fill a large room with ease, I'm fully impressed. It rivals an actual movie theater, we felt like we were at an IMAX movie. It's a great experience. I also use the Q950T for streaming TIDAL (HiFi/Master) audio on Bluetooth from my mobile, still sounds great, the rear speakers do their job well to maintain depth in the music being played. The sound stage actually encompasses with depth of perception hearing the action. I played MadMax: Fury Road and the sound was incredible. I love this soundbar, the sub woofer and the wireless surround speakers, it's a great entertainment kit. Highly recommended. + the 2 year warranty, What can I say? Great deal...ARIGATO!

Pricey but the quality is good and the prices continue to drop

Couple things. This sound system is great once hooked up correctly. Facing your tv put the sub on the left side of the soundbar like the manual says, i didn't do this at first and had issues with bass response. Gone once following directions.
