  • Senville 1200 sena

I ordered it Thursday night and it got delivered Tuesday morning. I bought it to replace a broken 10 year old Daikin mini split. I did not want to spend $3500-$4000 for a other Daikin or Fujitsu so I decided to try a Senville and I am not sorry I did. I got it installed by a hvac guy, he pressure tested it and vacuumed the lines. It was -19c when we started it for the first time. Me and the hvac guy couldn't believe how quiet it was. It gave great heat even at -19c It is 3 times quieter as the daikin it replaced and twice as quiet as the fujitsu I have at my shop. I am very satisfied. It works great and at 1 third of the price of a fujitsu or daikin its a great deal. It also has all the features that the more expensive brands have. I just ordered a other one it should be here in a few days. Update A few days after I ordered the second unit it arrived. I just got the second one installed on the kitchen side of the house. yesterday it was -18c with a wind chill of -25c and both units were not even working hard and had no problems heating the house. As I type this it is -23c with a wind chill of -31 and there working the same as last night having no problem heating the house at all. 2 of these are heating this old 2 story house is pretty impressive. There is no other source of heat used since the second unit was installed. The upstairs could need a bit more heat in more extreme cold so to keep the wife happy I might put one upstairs. It will help as heat rises but not cold so in the summer the ac will help cool the upstairs, cheaper then a air conditioner and wont be as noisy. When I decide to put in a other one upstairs it will be a other senville 1200 sena. 3 senville mini split for the price of 1 fujitsu, Daikin or a Mitsubishi mini split a no brainer.

  • 12000 BTU Ductless AC Mini Split Air Conditioner and Heat 22 SEER Energy Star!

Hi. This unit is incredibly quiet and makes the one end of my 2000+ home very comfortable. I'm so impressed by it's efficiency and quietness that I just bought an 18,000 unit for the other end of my home from SOGOODTOBUY on eBay! A repeat buyer from them! With DC inverter technology, the unit is quiet and puts out the heat! I measured the AC current used and each leg of the 220 volt measured only about 2 AMPS when making heat! My baseboard heater uses about 14.8 AMPS per leg as a comparison. About 4 AMPS compared to 30 AMPS! A no brainer! I bought it for heat and not really for the air conditioner but I'll try it next year. The heat coming out isn't hot but it adds up and warms the home cheaper! Thanks, Herb in Sandy, Oregon

  • Great system for a great price.

This comes with everything you need to connect the indoor and outdoor units together. To complete the installation you still need to connect it to an electrical panel with a dedicated breaker and you should install an outdoor electric disconnect switch. Installation is simple, however I used to install this type of system about 10 years ago. The operation is nice and quiet. I installed this system in a basement for heat and the turbo feature allows me to heat the basement up to temp quickly when I need it.

  • better than name brand expensive units!

Not only is this cheaper than big name super expensive units, it's actually more efficient! 22 seer is more than the standard 16 or 18 offered by big name AC companys. the ONLY negative about this one was it said complete kit included for full set up. Well that wasn't true, it was missing a vital part, namely the wiring kit. How do you get electricity to it without a wiring kit? Well that cost me an extra bit, BUT because it's so vastly cheaper than others, the cost in the budget more than made up for that. It wasn't really noticeable. It is very quiet, in fact I still cannot hear it running. It is fancy! You would think for the price that it would be bare bones basic nothing, but the remote is part of it, and that is very nice. It's smart! If you set it for say 73 degrees it knows the temperature outside and will adjust to cool air if it's warm out and warm air if it's cold out. If you are closing in a garage or building a separate room and you are trying to decide between putting in ductwork and A/C and this ductless all in one unit...........think no more, this is the better value and the better choice. If my A/C dies, I will put these in each room before I pay for a 12,000 unit for outside ever again!

  • Very quiet, perfect sytem for 16X30 workshop.

This system was delivered very well packaged, no damage, not even a scratch. Installation was fairly straight forward. Came with a template to layout the holes for the interior part. Be sure and use a level when laying this out. I purchased the 25 foot copper tubing kit, ended up needing 17 feet. Tubing was cut and flared for the correct length. I also purchased the outdoor mounting brackets, but there was not a easy way to used them and make for a neat installation. Nothing wrong with the brackets, just didn't fit my application. Built a treated lumber stand for the outdoor unit and anchored to concert. Due to horizonal run of tubing, purchased locally a cover to dress up the horizonal run. Don't make the mistake a lot of folks have, be sure and hook a vacuum pump to the system before releasing the Freon. We connected nitrogen and charged the copper line and evaporator and checked for leaks. The vacuum for about 2 hours. then released the Freon. With a desk top computer running in my 16X30 foot shop, I can't hear the indoor fan running, the fan in the computer is louder. The shop has insulated walls and overhead, but the 8X10 rollup door is not, when the sun is hitting it, you can feel the heat radiating on the inside. This 12000 BTU system has no problem keep the interior 75 degrees while it is 100 F outside.

  • Fantastic cooling and heating

Easy install. Good instructions. I had no option and had to mount near my wall mount tv against your recommendation. It is however working just great in my setup.

  • Sweet deal for something so good! 1/6 the price of Fujitsu or Mitsubishi!

Came in excellent shape and good timing. Fairly easy to install. Extremely quiet! It's heating my 1400 square foot home easily at 7 C. 2 -4 cents an hour to heat right now!!! Thank you! I'll be buying 4 more for family. Keep improving the efficiency, and noise levels!

  • Very pleased, getting another.

Installed it about 2 weeks ago, works very well the main living area and kitchen is about 400sqft and opened into hallway about 150sqft, with a smaller bathroom and bedroom besides that and it has no trouble cooling the whole place. It is a 26x30 chalet style on a concrete slab. Was originally going to get 18k but they weren’t shipping till August at the time so I went with the 12k which I believe is the correct size for needs anyways. Install was very straight forward, if you are mechanical inclined at all it shouldn’t be an issue. I am going to order another 9k unit for my upstairs very shortly.
