Only had it for a few weeks we made soup twice and made many smoothies. For the price it's a good blender I am not sure of the longevity of it. I bought this just at the beginning of CV-19 and never looked to see if it was made in China and I assume it is but now if it's made in China I won't. I love fresh home-made soups, and this amazing device allows me to indulge my heart's desire...artichoke soup, for instance, is so simple, I make batches every few days. Absolutely delicious! Place the raw ingredients into the glass pitcher, add some butter, chicken stock, perhaps a sliced onion, and in less than half an hour, the boiling soup is ready to be consumed! And the self-cleaning function has to be seen to be believed. And making smoothies is also simple and makes a delicious product!
