This Transom Transducer Hardware Kit with Bracket from Humminbird helps you properly secure the transom to your boat. The kit contains a kick up bracket, transducer bracket plug, and the hardware needed for the attachment. Installing the kit prevents damage or loss to the transom. Good price, good fit, factory original, good design.
Fit like the original, works perfectly. It is designed to swing out of the way if something is hit. But it will not 'release' every time. Sometimes it will break. But even if it breaks once in a while, it is cheaper to buy these mounts than a new transducer. Could be better made

No good alternative but fits the transducer its made for
Its not a good value when you fish rivers and creeks with rocks and debris. This is the third time I have replaced this one, they break easily. This product needs to be made of metal and be free floating to be used in these applications. Replaced broken one
Replaced the broken one. Exact replacement. My brother has one on his boat so bought a spare in case he breaks his one day. Freak accident is what broke mine. Log about six feet long and 12 inches round got between my outboard and my boat. We pushed the log out sideways and that is what broke the orginal bracket. Product problem
I have had to replace the barcket twice because the part that holds the tranducer breaks after a year or so. The plastic becomes brittle and eventually breaks apart. I consider this to be serious weekness and likely will not buy another Humminbird.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

i put it on my boat went thru the water it snaped off and ripped off my transducer in the lake now i dont have a fish finder at all

A better design than the fixed bracket.
The depth finder I bought came with a fixed bracket. I dont know why. This bracket should have come with the depth finder instead of the fixed bracket. It will allow for hitting objects so my transom wont get tore up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solid Product That Works With The Transducer
This is a solid product; it fits the transducer perfectly. The only problem I had was when I tried to remove the long bolt from the plastic filled nut that fits into the bracket.
