Garmin Vivofit2- Love it!
I have been using the vivofit2 for a few weeks now. I have found it to be accurate and easy to use. I also like that I can get vanity bands for it to change the look (going to order those). It is much lighter weight than I anticipated. I have large wrists but the size small band fit me perfectly. I am right handed and put it on my left hand (like a watch) during the day and switch to my left at night to give my wrist a break. Definitely more accurate (steps) than the fitbit. Steps are relative anyway. The connect app is nice. Pros are definitely the super long battery life, the light weight, ability to change out the bands (which is as easy as slipping it on) and the locking option for the clasp. The only Con may be that I am afraid to get it wet. Also I cant figure out how to connect to other users yet. Overall love it and would buy another one. Overall I like this. I especially like the feature that lets you know when you have been inactive for too long. As I work from home, that is great. The device itself comes with minimal instructions. You just sync it to your phone or computer to get it set up. It connects with My Fitness Pal to track your overall health & goals. I have not yet synced the band with my computer to actual figure out how to track different kinds of exercise. Garmin VivoFit2 is affordable and helpful!
This product helps me be more aware of my movement! With the red bar that beeps and let's me know when I've been sitting too long, so I can be more active! I love that this activity tracker is water resistant so I never have to take it off. I love seeing online or through my phone app, how my sleeping habits are! Garmin should stick to GPS
I think I'm above average in intelligence, but from the moment I opened the package, confusion reigned. It began with problems with the software installation and pairing. Then they tell you to do various things with the "device key", but no place in their instructions do they tell you where that key is. I finally found it through trial and error. I purchased the Vivofit for two purposes: as a watch, and to keep track of daily distances. It keeps great time, but I've yet to figure out how to work the distance thingy. Very convenient, but quit after 2 years
I liked the Vivofit 2. The display is larger and much easier to read than the Vivofit 3 I bought when the 2 quit. The battery lasted a little over a year and was easy to replace. Garmin Vivofit 2 is a great fitness tool. I works flawlessly as expected. The only issue I had was after a week the app wouldn't sync on my Samsung Galaxy tab4. Impressed with Garmin vivofit2
I was impressed with the Garmin vivofit2 that we received. I lost the one that I have had for years. They don't make these anymore and the one we received was brand new with chest strap heart monitor and usb transmitter to connect with Garmin connect.
