Ibanez m510 A style mandolin
I put a rosewood bridge and with help from stew mac you tube got it set right. It sounds out loud and clear, plays well, though I prefer a wider neck for my older fingers. For the price a great little mandolin.Read full review...

Ibanez mandolin
I bought this for practicing rather than using my other F-Style which pokes me in my leg when playing seated without a strap. This mandolin looks good, but the fretboard feels like it is concave and difficult to fret. The set-up was very poor and not even close concerning intonaton. The strings were improperly installed and impossible to tune as they slipped and one E string finally came unwound at the tail piece. I wasn't expecting much but this instrument definitely fell short. I am hesitant to recommend the instrument to beginners as they would definitely have problems coping with its shortcomings.Read full review...

Great buy
Condition of mandolin was better than expected. Replaced strings and had it set up. Sounds great. In my mind, it's a great starter instrument.

Great Mandolin at a Good Price
I'm having the time of my life with this mandolin. After 50+ years of playing guitar, I finally took the step I've talked about forever, to learn the mandolin. I'm no threat to Marty Stuart, but this is the perfect instrument for the beginning of this journey. It's a good quality product and I like the fretboard and action. The sound is good, and it wasn't difficult to set up properly. Also, the vendor, Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne Indiana, was great. It shipped quickly and arrived in perfect shape. I'm very satisfied.Read full review...

Nice sounding Mandolin. Excellent set up, in-tune and easy to play. Sounds great.
Nice sounding Mandolin for the money. Didn't notice wrong much for a 2nd. There were a couple finish marks that will buff out, and a tiny wave in bonding on the back. Excellent set up, in-tune and easy to play. Sounds great. I would definitely recommend the Ibanez 510 and Barry Clark Music. This is a good starter mandolin, IMHO.Read full review...

Solid beginner mandolin
Item shipped well. I was concerned because of the cold temperatures but it came perfect. It plays well and holds a tune better than expected.

Warped unplayable instrument.
Instrument was warped severely in the neck and body and can’t be played. Luthier said it was unrepairable and was never properly humidified.

Question
Not sure about the small piece of foam under the bridge,,is it part of the instrument or should it be removed. Aside from that, happy with the instrument

Nice mandolin
I like it, however, it doesn't stay in tune very long. I stretch the strings when replacing them but it doesn't help
