Excellent all around snare stand for a very good price!

I have to say I am really happy with the Tama Low Profile snare stand.
So much so, I bought 2 more so I can have one with each of my kits.

I Have played drums for 35 years or more and started out with the typical snare stands with the "toothed" tilter adjustments and never could get the exact angle I need... just a tiny bit...
I am also only 5ft 7in and my snare of choice is typically 6.5 to 8 inches deep so placement was always a little compromised.
I used the Pearl heavy duty stands with the infinite tilters and loved the stability and ease of adjustment but even when all the way down I wished for an extra half inch on the 6.5 deep and maybe 2 inches on the 8 inch drum without having a big tilt.

These Tama Low Profile Stands fit the bill perfectly for me in all areas.
I was initially concerned about the friction tilter... I was not sure if it would slip.
But it is rock solid.

Holds 15" Marching Snare Drums!

Finally! The stand adjusts very low & wide. I mounted a 15x8 snare drum with no problem. The ratchets & snare basket tightener seems to be good quality.
