It does a good job at cutting like small saplings and vines and small ground cover but not 3" stuff or weeds or tall grass it gets tangled . But is solid and better than plastic.

Good for brambles & will take Renegade Blades

I got this to take care of the heavier brush and brambles that were too heavy for the string trimmer. It is a good idea to get a renegade blade or blade of your choice for tree stalks. You have to take your time cutting through those.Read full review...
